Ingredients:
- 15 oz can of Garbanzo beans
- Olive Oil spray
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/8 tsp Cayenne pepper powder
- 1 tsp nutritional yeast (optional)
Direction:
- Drain chickpeas in a colander and rinse them and pat dry with a paper towel.
- Preheat air fryer to 400 F, and set the timer for 15 minutes.
- In a small bowl, combine all the spices and mix well, then set aside.
- Place the chickpeas in the air fryer and cook 5 minutes to be dried.
- Spray chickpeas with olive oil and close the air fryer basket and continue the cooking cycle, shaking about every 5 minutes,
- When there are about 5 minutes left, add seasoning combination; toss to coat.
- Continue to cook for the last 5 minutes or more until crispy, and then take the chickpeas out.
- After completely cooling, store crispy chickpeas in a jar or bowl, without a lid, to preserve the crispiness.
