Stir-fried Shaved brussel sprouts with Spam

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium white potato, cut into thin julienne strips
  • 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 pk low sodium Spam, thinly sliced
  • 1 bag of shaved brussel sprouts
  • 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
  • 1tsp.  Sesame seed oil
  • 1 tsp plus more salt to taste
  • 1 tsp. toasted sesame seed
  • a pinch of black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. Olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp. sliced grenn onion
Directions
  1. Peel the potato and wash, cut into julienne strips
  2. Soak the potato in the water about 10 minutes to remove starch
  3. Mean time, cut the onion, spam, then drain water from the potato using a colandeer
  4. In a heated pan, add 2T. olive oil and add the potato, spam. Stir them with a wooden spoon for 1 minute.
  5. Add onion, brussel sprouts, garlic, then add 1/2 tsp to 1 tsp of salt (depends on your taste) and lower the heat over medium heat , saute until all vegetables are fully cooked.
  6. Add sesmae oil, sesame seed, black pepper, then turn off the heat.
  7. Garnish with sliced green onion, and serve.
